Neck inflammation etc

by artem_nox, Jul 16, 2009 08:19PM
I'm a 23 year old female.  I've had inflammation in my neck for the past several months.  It has caused severe bone and muscle pain along with stiffness.  My neck is sore to the touch in several areas and aches terribly at different times of the day.  I find taking Ibuprofen or similar anti-inflammatory medication reduces the pain and inflammation some, but the pain, inflammation, etc are still a huge problem.  Also, I've had low grade fevers a lot recently, possibly connected to this problem.   I don't have herniated discs, and I've had an MRI of my neck, and it came out normal. I was wondering what could be causing my neck these problems.
