Hello dear,
You should consult an orthopedic physician and go in for a x-ray  and a MRI to rule out any degenerative spine changes.thye pain could be due to over exertion, cervical spondylosis. You can massage and do neck exercises which will be of help.Anxiety may cause such symptoms for which you need to relax and avoid stressful events.
