Neck stiffness , tingling arm, weak arm

36yr male with no known problems

it started in april 08, neck stiffness that moved to my shoulder , then down my arm.the pain tenders down, and the neck stiffness stops.but the tingling is still in my arm,shoulder,fingers my arm and hand is very weak   just the other day the neck stiffness came back,the pains are now severe at times i find myself shaking my arm to try to get it to stop. any diagnosis? to what may be causing it?

see a neurologist..sounds like cervical spine problem..an emg test will show exactly where..good luck
