Numb feeling to the left of my spine?? Worried

Hello everyone, I am at my wits end with all these crazy health problems I have been having...  Anyway I am a 28 year old female and for the last month I have at times gotten this numb feeling to the left of my upper spine, it does not hurt just feels strange and is aggravating. I have also noticed that when this happens sometimes my thigh will go numb also... At any rate it use to just do it here and there but now it does it all day long and it use to be just a small spot and now its covering more area and going further down and I am worried!! I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow and I hope that they can help me figure this out, but is this some kind of emergency?? I know no one here can tell me what the problem is but I was hoping that maybe someone has had this or something similar happen to them and could give me some insight?? Anything you have would be greatly appreciated...

My guess and this is purely a guess is some sort of nerve compression to the point where it may be starting to sever.  It is good you are going to the doctor.  Let us know what it ended up being.

Sever?? Well they reset me till next wed said the doc had an emergancy and then he is out till next week... I did see my neurologist today and brought it up but she didnt talk to me about it:(
