The middle 3 fingers are supplied by to the C7 nerve root, which is between C6-C7. I'll bet your MRI shows this as the level of greatest degeneration, possibly with secondary degeneration at C5-6 and C7-T1. This is likely a NECK problem, NOT carpal tunnel. If you're not having THUMB numbness as well (test the middle of the thumb on the palm side and compare to the other by light touch). If they feel the same, it is your neck. If you notice some numbness there as well, it MAY be carpal tunnel. But the neck is the more likely culprit. Anti-inflammatories won't cure this because it is this MECHANICAL irritation of the nerve (not chemical by inflammation) that occurs with loss of disc height. You need physical therapy to mobilize joints of the neck and upper back and improve your POSTURE (which can actually mechanically change the way the spine sits and take tension off of the nerve). Acupuncture may help symptoms in the short term, but you need a mechanical solution for mechanical pain. Carpal tunnel syndrome is rare over 45 if you don't have a job typing and don't do needlepoint or something like that frequently.
You are right,I don't think it's CTS,But I don't think it's disk desiccation reason neither,Why?
if anti-inflamm tablet can work, you can use deep and intensive needles to relive inflammation...That's why
