Pain IN front of neck and feeling tigness round neck

i bEEN Having pains in my neck for about a week the pains are located at the corner of each side of the neck Around the throat and also have a sore throat...When i feel the neck is getting tighter i put it down and i feel much better put when i raise it i fel like i gotta throw up and there alot of mucus in my throat....I Also ben having chest pains on the left side of my chest..im wondering with th chest pains is associated with the neck pain

I should get this checked out as soon as possible as it could be angina, which can cause neck and throat pain.

Chances are it is just pulled muscles, though - but I wouldn't take any chances!

Have you gotten any answers?  My neck strain presented with those very symptoms. Seemed to subside somewhat and now are back.  I've been taking Protonix for GERD for over a month.  I also get the chest pain plus several other things...hope this helped

I have had chronic neck pain for a long time - along with chest burning, throat burning etc. Also have pain in back of throat at times and at roof of mouth, which makes me feel extremely unwell - like throwing up when it gets bad.  I'm guessing it is because of the inflammation in my neck and the referred pain from the neck as I have no other answers for it at this time.

Also have a lot of mucous.  Any anwers on your end yet?
