Pain and Colitis

I'm 56 years old. I have been suffering with back pain from osteoprosis, a repaired broken vertabra (broke during a seizure) that still hurts all the time, bulging disc, degenerative bone desease, arthritis. I'm on pain medication all the time cause they won't do any surgery to see if that'll help, but sometimes the medicine doesn't last long enough.  I've also been having a problem with C-DIFF Colitis and some other kind of bacterial infection. I've lost weight, don't have an appitite and have become very depressed because of the constant pain. Is there anything I can do?

First of all,  How was the broken vertebrae repaired? Mine broke when I had the Flu and I coughed to hard.  Found out I had Osteporosis. I then had a procedure called vertebroplasty and have been in worse pain than I was before. DO NOT HAVE BACK SURGERY!!!  Bulging dics can be corrected through laser surgery and there is no cutting through muscle.  Check out Laser Spine Institute.  Just google them and check out their site. I have all the conditions that you have and I take Oxycodone 10/325 mg. 5 a day.  I stay in pain but since I had that procedure done which is when they put cement in your back there is no way to tell if they hit a nerve or what.  So I am stuck with lifetime pain.  Good Luck to you.
