I am an unusually fit active petite 68 yr old woman who has gone to yoga regularly for 10 years. A month ago I started having weird fleeting headaches up the sides of my head and some scalp sensitivity. Thinking back I realize I have been "going for it" with backbends because my body is so flexible. I also starting sleeping on my stomach regularly over the past year. I believe I have misaligned or pinched something in my neck to cause this but I do not have neck pain, just head pain. My question is: do you think this will resolve itself if i am more conservative in yoga with my head. I just took a whole week off classes due to vacation and nothing changed with these funny pains on my head. It is best described as "the outsides of my head hurt, not the insides."
