my surgeon indicated tha laser has little effect on stenosis or bone spurs
I posted 4 days ago and no one has even read my message. Is there anyone who can read my MRI and help me understand it?
MRI FINDINGS:
The visualized retroperitoneal structures had a normal appearance for age. There is an old appearing superior endplate depression deformity of Ll with loss of approximately 20% of the anterior vertebral height. No associated marrow edema. Axial image 3 of series 104 shows a 3 mm AP dimension right paracentral disc herniation with at least 1 mm of compression of the distal thoracic spinal cord just above the conus. This also seen on sagittal image 8 of series 102. No significant abnormality was notified at T12-Ll.
LI-2: Moderate disc desiccation and loss of vertical disc height. Normal sagittal lignment. 2 mm AP dimension posterior annular disc bulge. No significant central or foraminal stenosis.
L2-3: Mild disc dessication. 2mm in AP dimension annular disc bulge with mild impression on the thecal sac. No significant central or foraminal stenosis.
L3-4: Moderate disc desiccation and loss of vertical disc height. 3 mm of retrolisthesis. 4 mm AP dimension broad-based disc herniation with moderate central spinal stenosis and bilateral lateral recess stenosis at moderate bilateral foraminal stenosis with mild impression both exiting L3 nerve roots.
L4-5: Moderate disc desiccation and marked loss of vertical disc height. Normal sagittal alignment. 3 mm AP dimension broad-based disc herniation. Moderate central spinal stenosis and bilateral lateral recess stenosis. Moderate bilateral foraminal stenosis with mild impression both exiting L4 nerve roots by facet joint hypertrophy and disc bulge, right greater than left. Axial image 27 of series 104 and
sagittal image 13 of series 12 shows mild impression on the extraforaminalleft L3 nerve root by left posterolateral disc bulge or small disc protrusion, Moderate bilateral facet joint arthrosis.
L5-S 1: Moderate disc desiccation and loss of vertical disc height. Normal sagittal alignment. 2.5 mm AP dimension broad-based disc bulge. No significant central or foraminal stenosis. Facet joint trophism and moderate bilateral facet joint arthrosis.
Ll-2:
IMPRESSION:
1. OLD APPEARING SUPERIOR ENDPLATE DEPRESSION DEFORMITY OF T12 WITH RIGHT PARACENTRAL DISC HERNIATION ABUTTING THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE DISTAL THORACIC SPINAL CORD JUST OF CONUS.
2. MULTILEVEL ANNULAR DISC BULGES AND ANNULAR TEARS AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. MODERATE CENTRAL SPINAL STENOSIS AT L3-4 AND L4-S. REMAINDER OF DETAILS AS ABOVE
