Hi I am so sorry you are having this problem. You could try going to an osteopath, the have similar capabilities as a chiropractor however in addition they are MD's
Have you gone to your Primary Care about this problem? I had a similar problem and my osteopath said that one of my ribs was slightly out of place. I was sent to physical therapy. While I did not think it would help, I was much improved after one visit.
I hope that you feel better very soon

I have something that sounds similar to your chest/shoulder pain that when you crack it, it relieves the pain. My doctor and chiropractor called it a slow moving rib, and it was out of place. Sounds similar to your diagnosis. (I have had numerous back injuries that caused my problems and scoliosis.) I was told though, not to crack the chest when the pain builds up. (A nearly impossible feat if you ask me...) The doctors tell me that it will only serve to aggravate the pain and prolong the problem. I had to see the chiropractor three times a week for a few months to resolve this rib/chest problem. But, it did work. I occasionally get a flare up, but it goes away so long as I don't try and crack it by myself. It was like a pain medication withdrawal! Cracking it was temporary relief, but then the pain always came back with a vengeance. Try some heat or hot bath or shower to relieve some of the pressure of the pain. Really, I didn't have any other luck except the chiropractor who seemed to have fixed my rib/chest problem. (As well as the pinching in the upper back area.) I hope that helps you or gives you an idea of what you can do to get rid of the pain.
In addition to anything I have mentioned, please keep in mind, that while I or others may have extensive knowledge in many areas, you should always seek professional medical advice from your own physician, as it pertains to medical conditions or concerns.
Good luck, and if you have any other questions that I can help you with, please feel free to message me directly.
Sincerely,
