Possible pinched nerve (Left Upper Back by Shoulder blade) HELP!?

2 days ago, I thought my back was just achey, but the next day I realized that I would get a sharp shooting pain (when I was laying down) or when I was bending/sitting in a certain position. It is basically next to my upper left shoulder blade. It is/was much worse when I attempted to lay completely flat down on  my back. It felt like straight spasms of pain and it would go away after a little bit.

I've attempted 2 types of stretches, using IcyHot, and getting a massage. I've also taken some pain medication to dull the pain (if I did have to move). It has been somewhat relieved, but I'm afraid it will return.

Will pinched nerves (if this is a pinched nerve) go away on its own and any natural remedies I can do to attempt to relieve this from home? Please help :(

This could be the result of a cervical disk issue, maybe have an MRI of cervical to rule this out.

Sorry to hear......I have similar symptoms you've described.......among others. I made my first post earlier. I think.....moist heat, ibuprofen, and some rest will help you.......I'm experimenting with cold paks too.......But, I truly believe.....Moist heat will benefit you most.......Best regards, hope it helps.
