Hello. I had an LP 7 months ago to rule out suspected meningitis, which came out negative. I needed a blood patch a few days later. During the blood patch, the doctor seemed to "hit" something in my back, causing a lot of pain. I got through it though and was told to expect a backache for the next 6 weeks or so. I still have the backache. I am so stiff, and walking, standing, or sitting for more than 10 minutes has me stiff and hurting. I can't even turn at the waist. What could be wrong? I know that it must be related to the LP, but I don't know how. PLease help shed some light for me. I am 34 years old, active, and otherwise healthy; I am just so tired of hurting. Thank you. Linda
