The symptoms of loss of balance and weakness in your right arm do not seem to correlate with the recommendation for chiropractic treatment, Did your doctor obtain any diagnostic tests such as x-rays prior to this recommendation? Cervical spine problems can result in sensory changes to the upper extremity, but do not usually cause balance problems.
Based on the information presented, it would be difficult to assess what the relationship between your symptoms and the shifting alignment of the C5 vertebra unless there also happened to be some nerve involvement as well.
