I'm worried. I lifted a lot of things last friday and got some back pain. Since then I've been taking more and more painkillers (doctor prescribed) but now my symptoms don't feel right. During the day I have very little back ache, and I can lift heavy things. It's when I lie down at night and try to sleep - no matter what position I try, I get increasing pain from where I think my left kidney is.
It doesn't hurt to poke at my sides or back, but the pain becomes agony even when I'm on codeine and ibuprofen.
I'm worried in case its a kidney infection or a duodenal cyst (which ibuprofen can cause).
