Question about MRI

by kricketsoup, Nov 26, 2007 07:52PM
After having ongoing on and off pain in my neck and down my left shoulder to the forearm, I had an MRI done. Just wondering what my next step should be after these mri results :

C5-6, a small but broad-based disc protrusion, centered to the left of midline and superimposed on mild endplate spurring, has resulted in effacement of the ventral subarachnoid space and moderate narrowing of the left intervertebral foramen. There may be impingement of the exiting left C6 nerve root.

At c6-7, a medium-sized disc-osteophyte complex has effaced the ventral subarachnoid space and mildly narrowed the left intervertebral foramen.

At C2-3 and C3-4, the intervertebral discs are mildly dehydrated but otherwise intact.
