Rigid Muscles from youth to young adulthood

I am 23 yr old female. I have had chronic rigid tight muscles in my neck, shoulders, and back for at least 5 years. I have tried physical therapy, chiropractors, trigger point injections, massage, muscle relaxers, etc. Nothing helps. I am seeking relief from my painful muscles. I have been tested for rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis, and I do not have either. I also have no thyroid problems. Other symptoms I have are chronic fatigue, depression, and constipation. I also cannot stand hot weather and sweat more than usual.

Did you ever find out what is causing these symptoms? Mine are identical and I am nearing a deadend

Look into doing lumbar extensions -  did your chiro should know the benefits? Did the past PT's tell you to do lumbar extensions? This strengthens the muscles along the spine, keeps spine straighter, and hips S/I joint area are more likely to stay in place then.

Adjustments don't last long because of tight  muscles repeatedly pulling things out of place. Chiro does not work unless muscles are no longer tight, this took me time with trigger point therapy , I bought a book on it and learned.

***"Other symptoms I have are chronic fatigue, depression, and constipation" - this spells out Hypo thyroid, I know, I have it.***

Ever have thyroid hormones checked Properly? TSH is a joke, you need what is called Free T3 and Free T4 thyroid hormones checked in your blood. Get checked again.

Tested for Lymes disease at all, (common in the north)?

Yes, my legs are the same length, but my hips get out of place a lot and make me uneven. My chiropractor told me I had loose ligaments, and that's why my adjustments didn't last long.

It tough to figure out!  I've been there. Has any chiropractor looked for any leg length differences? This can imbalance the whole body, some correct it with heel wedges in shoes. Little as 3/8 inch can make a difference.
