Rod

I have had 6 back surgerys the last one Sept.2010 A rod was put in my back and I have been in pain from the word go. It feels like ever one in my torso has moved. I am in pain 24-7  I cannot make the doctors understand that the pain is different than the pain I had from my back. Is their some way I an get the rod removed? Please help me it is not my back it is my bones.

I would suggest you go back to the surgeon and ask for a MRI or CT scan to see what's the rod doing.  I have a rod in my neck and can't feel it at all.  I still have neck problems and pain but I can't physically feel the rod.
