Sacroiliac Pain
I was in a MVA about 4 months ago and was diagnosed with sacroiliac irritation following it. I have been doing physical therapy 2-3 times a week since then. In addition I have been on anti-inflammatories, pain medication and muscle relaxers. NOTHING is helping. If anything I have the pain is getting worse. I am no longer able to stand for more than 15 minutes without being in intense pain and have to sit or lie down to relieve it. The pain is over the sacroiliac area as well as the piriformis muscle and goes up the back just 2 or 3 vertebraes worth. Are there any other options to treat this pain? Does it still sound like sacroiliac irritation? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I am miserable here!
