Schwannoma Tumor

I'm 36 years old. In 2005 I was diagnosed & treated for the removal of a schwannoma tumor. It's 2009 now & I also was diagnosed with cronic (chronic) neck pain. For the past 2 months now, I have numbness & tingling in my left pinky, constant neck, sholder, ear pain. The tumor had been attached to my left lung canal, upper spine, grew through muscle & around nerves. I think it was all removed, but I don't understand why I still have problems??? I worry all the time it has come back & I don't have any medical insurance.

The tumor you had removed was a benign proliferation of nerve fibers and based on your current symptoms it is possible that you are experiencing a recurrence.
The chronic neck pain could be related to degenerative changes in your cervical spine which could also be causing the numbness and tingling in your fingers and shoulder area.
Being without medical insurance is difficult -- you do need to have specific diagnostic tests done to determine what has caused your symptoms to escalate.
Are there any free medical clinics in your area?  I know that these clinics are being developed due to the present economy and the lack of insurance for many individuals.
If you do not have knowledge of any clinics, you might try contacting the social services department at your community hospital and see if they have any additional options for you.
Having gone through the extensive surgery in 2005 shows that you are a strong individual and hopefully you can access medical treatment soon to alleviate your anxiety.
