Several back issues- syrinx, scoliosis, ect ect.....

I am going to list the findings/impressions of 2 x-rays and 3 MRIs. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with any or all of these issues. I am in the Army, and also wondering if anyone has had these issues while in the Military and what the course of action was. Thank you  ~SGT W...............

11 degree convex curvature of the thoracolumbar region from T9-L2, mild straightening of the cervical lordosis, muscle spasms, multilevel degenerative changes, endplate sclerosis, schmorl's node formation, mild leftward curvature of the upper thoracic spine, several small disc buldges with protrusions at the T2-T3 T7-T8 T8-T9 T9-T10, long spinal cord syrinx from the T2 to the T9 level, multilevel disc disease, increased enlargement of the central canal at the endplate of C6 and endplate of C7, disc dessication (desiccation) at C3-C4 C5-C6 C6-C7, minimal disc osteophyte complex at C5-C6 and C6-C7..............That's all

  Hi...well it sounds like u may have been involved in a MVA of some kind or suffered some injury to ur back????

But we do have a forum for Chiari and syringomyelia (syrinx) here on MedHelp and I do know we have a few military members.

  The straightening of the cervical lordosis  is also known as soldiers neck,...but can be the resut of whip lash as well as the way the military hold their heads.....

It would explain the muscle spasms if they r in the shoulder region,.......

  Did u have a brain MRI as well as a cervical spine MRI?
