Severe Leg and lower back paing

Last November I had a disc removed from my neck (pinched nerve) and recovered wonderfully from this surgery (prior to surgery my right arm/shoulder drove me almost out of my mind with pain).  
About one month ago, my right leg started to hurt from under my butt cheek all the way down my leg.  Now the pain is worse and actually includes my lower back and inside groan area of right leg.  While was walking two-three miles a day, I am now unable to walk at all due to the pain.  About three years ago i did have an injection for my lower back pain and it all went well.

Now I am again trying to tolerate the pain until I can see my neurosurgeon.  Would a chiropractor be ok to see?  I am in such pain and think maybe I should go.  I am now beginning to hurt again in my neck and shoulder probably because of the way I am walking.

Have a mri done first. A good chiropractor will not touch you until they know what is wrong. It is possible that you have herniated a disk somewhere in you back and having an adjustment done could cause more harm than good right now. If it will be a while before you can get into the surgeon go see your gp and maybe he can give you some pain meds and order a mri. That way when you go you will not have to wait for one and if you are in bad shape your surgeon may be able to get you in quicker. Best of luck to you.
