I'm an 18 year old female who has never had any medical issues whatsoever. Today I was woken up by a horrible pain in my neck at 5:00 AM and could not even move for half an hour. I have never experienced such pain and when trying to massage the supposed "crick in my neck" (I just assumed that's what it was), it felt like the pain was much deeper. I tried stretching my neck a little even though it hurts because I read online that it helps, and I've also taken some Ibuprofen. My neck feels a bit better but I am still feeling pain....Do I have a pinched nerve? If so, is it worth going to see a doctor? (i.e. will they be able to do anything to lessen the pain?)
