Severe back pain

I was wondering are there other people who can't sleep laying down in a bed because the pain in the lower back becomes so severe? Are there other people who are forced to sleep in a chair setting up?

Yes. If I try to sleep in bed I have to only sleep on my side. If I happen to roll onto my back it wakes me up with a stabbing lower back pain and I go into the livingroom and sleep in a recliner. My new insurance kicks in the first of the year and I'm hoping to have some pain management visits and possibly nerve block injections. Good luck!

I have been sleeping in my lounge chair for 12 yrs. now.  I cannot lay flat.

I can't stand or sit more than 2 hrs. at a time.  They do not know what is wrong only that I have scoliosis
