Severe muscle twitches and pain

I am having problems getting answers. In January of 2008, I had an Mri done on my lumbar region and here are the results; L4-5 There is some posterior disk bulging. Neural Foramina are present., L5-S1:  A moderate-sized broad-based posterior disk protrusion, which indents the ventral thecal sac and touches the traversing bilateral S1 nerve roots. There is congenital narrowing of the spinal canal,throughout the lumbar region, due to short pedicules.

My lower back has seemed to worsen. I now have pain on the right and left side, around the hip area. I get tingling sensations in three of my right toes and when I rotata my hips, they pop.

I also have pain in my upper back, between my shoulder blades and this sometimes causes numbness in my hands and it feels like it is pushing on my lungs. I can literally pull up on my skin, just above the middle of my shoulder blades and pop my back. I can't raise my arms above my head without pinching a nerve back there. Can someone out there please tell me what is going on?

Have you had any injections to help control your pain? Sounds as if the bulge has gotten worse and you need a new mri. I suffer from the same condition. I have now developed what is called drop foot because of nerve damage due to the pinched nerve at L5-S1 you should really see your doctor you don't want to risk any permanet damage.
