Sharp pain in shoulder/upperback

I sometimes have a sharp pain where my shoulder meets the lower part of my neck. More specifically the pain is just to the left of my spinal cord and it only hurts in a small spot (the pain isn't widespread). I get it when I sneeze and sometimes when I move my shoulder up and back. I think the only place I could have hurt it was at dance practice.
