My girlfriend has been complaining of shoulder/neck pains recently. She does gymnastics, and every once in a while, during practice she will feel a sharp pain. However, this is where it gets interesting. The pain reaches its peak when she is in fact doing nothing with it at all. For example, standing, sitting, etc. are excrutiatingly painful for her. She actually says movement helps dull the pain to a stretching sort of pain. It is progressively getting worse, and the school nurse has said to get it checked, but my girl is stubborn and wont because she wants to keep playing gymnastics. Any light you could shed on this matter would be helpful... Thanks!!!!
