Sounds in neck and back

I hear this weird popping sound whenever I move my neck. I can pop my back all the time.
The sound in my neck is not always just because of popping , it sounds like when you peel an onion. I can hear it best when I am in water, like a bath or swimming pool. Whenever I cover myself with water up to my neck, I can hear this sound. Hard to explain, but it is there.
I first heard the sound when I was 18 and swimming. It never went away but gradually the popping and cracking started. I was never able to crack and pop my spine all the time. While I am sitting here I can just twist to the side to pop my back and neck. Most popping is between my shoulder blades. There is no pain but it doesn't feel right. It is at it's worst when I wake up. When I open my eyes and move slightly I hear this creek sounds. I am 30 years and wealthy and fit generally
