Spinal fusion

Spinal fusion

In 2001 I had a spinal fusion with a titanium rod with (3) screws inserted at L4-5. I have had no problems until the past three weeks.  All of a sudden I'm getting "that" paint down my right leg with discomfort in my lower back. By late afternoon/early evening my right leg feels like a tight band is around the outside and pain on the inside (not unbearable, but there. On a scale of 1-10 I would classify as a level 4 right now).  By bedtime the toes on my R foot are numb.  Someone jokingly said maybe I have a screw loose.  But after he said that I began to wonder if that was possible.  Now I'm wondering if I should see my neurosurgeon or just wait till the pain becomes unbearable.
