T7 T8 thecal sac bulge

For the last 3 years I have been dealing with a bulge in the thecal sac between t7 & t8. There are days when I feel like someone is putting their hand under my ribcage & pulling on it & there are days when the pain is higher up in my center/left upper back. I never know from day to day where I'm going to be affected & by how much. I have been on & off of everything from 10 mg Vicodin to percocette, tramadol & Tyelonol w/codeine. Oh and yes, let's not forget about the Physical Therpy that proved ineffective. Is there any medication known out there that anyone can recommend I speak with my Dr about? I have thoracic issues myself, so I know what you're talking about with the pain. Sounds like you need an extended release type medication, its a  lot easier to control your pain that way, instead of taking something every 4-6 hours. Copy your post over to the Pain Management forum, I'm sure they'll have some suggestions for you.
