I have been suffering from a T8 compression fracture for 2 years. I have had a bone scan and do not have osteoporosis, I have had an MRI and bloodwork to rule out cancer (hopefully). I am still suffering from pain that is intermittent and worst after standing in one place, reaching overhead, or sometimes a lot of walking. It leaves me with a burning pain in the mid back thoracic area. My main concern however seems to be in the musles surrounding the T8 to T11 around the kidneys. They seem to be constantly spasming. Is this normal? How long will it last? Could it be my kidneys? No low back, no problem urinating. I do have some memory problems.
