T12-L1 and L1-L2 level: There is a small diffuse disc bulge at each of these levels without significant central canal stenosis, neural foraminal narrowing
L2-L3 level: Negative
L3-L4 level: Mild diffuse disc. Central canal is widely patent, otherwise negative.
L4-L5 level: Minor facet hypertrophy, otherwise negative.
L5-S1 level: There is a suspected small disc hermiationm protrusion type centered to the left of the midline. This appears to have a broad bas measuring 11mm and projects approximately 2mm posteriorly. This creates no central canal stenosis, the central canal measure 8mm. There is mild effacement of the left lateral recess at this level without obvious significant effect on the transversing left S1 nerve root. There is no significant neural foraminal narrowing detected.
I've had a lot of numbness and tingling from my waist down, mainly in my butt and the back of my thighs. I've also had a great deal of weakness in my lower limbs. As well as the back and leg pain. Recently I've noticed my arms and upper back feeling a bit tingly and numb (it's very hard to describe this feeling).
I need these MRI results put into terms I can understand. I try to ask the doctors and I still don't understand. Also how bad is all this, and what treatment routes should I take?
