Upper/Mid BACK pain... Esp. at Night

I have no insurance to be seen by a doctor, and the ER says they can't help me.
I was in a bad head/on collision car wreck about 5 yrs ago.  I had several broken ribs and alot of pain to my back and Sciatic areas on both sides.  Since then I've suffered with off and on sciatic pain, sometimes unable to walk.  But the one pain that has seemed to get much worse with time, and especially with the last pregnancy is my back pain.  It has always hurt, but almost immediately after giving birth my son, nearly 1 year ago. the pain has become unbearable.  It seems to have changed over the last year some.  Within a few weeks of having him, it seemed almost like my entire ribcage was broken and bruised.  ( I had broken several ribs, weeks before getting pregnant, and i'm worried that with my growing body, they didn't heal correctly)  The pain was at it's worst at night.  I haven't been able to sleep for nearly a year.  Now the pain has settled mostly in my mid to upper back, around the shoulder blades and a little below, in the area of my back.  it's from my spine going outwards several inches.   I have to sleep on my side curled up , because if i staighten by back it is extremely painful.  For several hours after waking, I can' t stand up straight due to the pain.  I take ambian, seroquel, flexeril, and percocet to try to control the pain and be able to sleep.  Even with all of the medications, i toss and turn atleast 40-80 times per night.  I have gotten up in the middle of the night for several hours, just to allow my back to relax enough to lie back down.  Sitting up is much less painful than laying down.
The mri's have shown Authritis in my back, I'm 34, but this pain can't be just arthritis.  Please help, any suggestions on what to have checked out would be AWESOME.
Thanks
Brandy

Try buying a self acupuncture pillow like the Prickly Pad (what I have). It was twenty bucks and I use it everyday.  It has reduced my back/neck pain immensely.
