Variety of Symptoms

I am a 43 y/o male who has a Chiari I malformation (decompressed in 2003).  I've had two cervical spinal fusions (C6 and C7-- same surgery twice because the first one didn't take).  Now I am having some of the symptoms from the Chiari and the disc issues:  right occipital head pressure that is becoming more constant but feels directly related to a pinched nerve perhaps, and pain in the upper left arm that feels like tingly sunburn.  In addition, I have a tingly-sunburn sensation in the back, just below the right shoulder blade-- it feels like sunburn inside the right rib cage in the back.  I'm experiencing some ringing in the ears regularly as well.  I also recently had a nasty incident of vertigo that sent me to the e.r.

Could all of these be related?  Might I be having a recurrence of my cervical spinal problem, or my Chiari?

Hi, I  think it is possible to have chiari issues again as there is no cure for chiari.Yes all can be related.....

Also, was ur NS a chiari specialist?...many decompressions have had to be repeated bcuz the total spine was not looked at prior to the surgery...

A full check up with MRI's with a NL would be highly recommended....u want to rule out a syrinx, tethered cord, pusedotumor cerebri...and a CSF blockage.
