Waking up with numbing in foot?

I just got back my MRI report(bulging disc,s) which i,m hoping finally explains my almost unbearable at times cronic pain in neck, right shoulder, back, leg.Im waiting to go over result with my orthopedic surgeon next week,i,m just curious is waking up with my right foot feeling like a thousand little pricks in it,is this pretty normal for others with spine and nerve damage
Thanks,i am very grateful to come across this board,it,s been a God sent

Yeah, sometimes I wake up with a numb left foot -- it usually goes away after I walk around so I agree with ferret5 that it's positional (and also relates to the nerve damage I have).

I have several neck and back issues. I find that sometimes I get a feeling of my left foot starting to feel numb. I think it is positional.
