I've had a back ache for some time now. Over the last couple of weeks I've felt it getting worse. I workout 3 to 4 times a week. It takes me about 20 minutes for the back to get loose. I got up for work Monday morning and it felt funny. after driving 40 minutes to work I was having trouble standing straight. As the day went on I started to feel a burning sensation in my lower left back/buttocks area. I couldn't walk straight up and was bent over. I decided to visit a Chiropractor down the street. I was about 1 hour from home. He tells me that I have an SI. It's now Tuesday night and I still can't walk. My muscles in my left are twitching and most positions are uncomfortable. So, what did the doc say? Sounds a bit like sciatica to me. Interested to hear the diagnosis as once or twiceTwice-a-day this has happened to me and I have assumed it was from sitting too long at the computer!
I have 2 herniatedHerniated nucleus pulposus disc at L5-S1 and L4 At first 2 doctors xrayed me told me it was my sciatica nerve and gave me meds which I couldnt take at work. (pain pills) They gave me steroid shots, antiinflamitory shots and pain shot none helped. Even ER dr. said same thing thanks to another Dr. doing a MRI which showed herniation and other problems which my systems were that of what you are saying. I will be having surgery in the next week. Let me know if I can help.
