Whiplash & Lump

I am 25 years old and have recently been diagnosed with stage 2 whiplash. About three years ago I noticed a lump in the back of my neck and when I went ot see my doctor he said it would probably just go away and if it did not get bigger or cause pain it should be fine. A year and a half went but and it did grow and my neck and back began to hurt. I was having head aches off and on almost every day and my vision had gotten much worse. I often felt "medicine head" without taking any medicine and I am tired often. I was working out on a daily basis and my joints would pop excessively. My neck was grinding everytime I turned my head and so I went back to see my doctor. He checked my lump and said it was the top of my spine. He did an adjustment to help and then sent me to a physical therapist who noted that my C1 and C2 were not moving properly. He instrusted me to do some exercises to strengthen my posture. He said that the lump in the back of my neck was muscle bound up really tight. I continued the excerises until my lower back began to hurt horribly. I then went to a chiropractor who took an X-ray and saw that I had stage 2 whiplash and one hip was a little higher than the other. I saw him 3 days a week for about a month and a half and the poping and grinding went away but all the other symptoms, the head aches are still present. And so is the lump. I have never been in an accident and don't know if maybe my neck lump could be what is causing the whiplash? Should I be persistant with my doctor? I feel bad because I do not want ot question him but he does often forget things about me. Including delivering my daughter via c section. If you have any information on whether this could be related please let me know. My head hurts too much to over think this.

Just got in an accident where I had severe whiplash and immediately had a lump in my left neck where the seat belt dug in on impact. It has enlarged in a weeks time. A quick google search shows a cyctic condition that was surgically removed and then healed naturally. Very rare but I have yet to see a doctor myself. Only time will tell and if it persists I will get a doctors recommendation.
