hi there,
i was hit by a bus 16 months ago,in my small car & have suffered severe whiplash ever since.
im still in pain today and ive been told that if i don't find any problems in my mri scan then i need to see a nurophyciatrist????
since the accident ,yes i have been depressed and down ,but i've still got these weird electric shocks ,randomly going through my legs mostly, but has now started affecting my hands too.
they think that the jerks ,as i call them, are a reaction to stress!!!!
now im no Dr but i think the jerks are a result as some kind of damage from the accident, not in my mind...
when being told all the different reasons for pain is in my mind,im inclined to disagree... i do know what pain is and how come when im happy im in pain too.
i really do understand the frustration and that feeling ,as though your lying.
but you just have to keep onto your Dr or see another Dr....
hopes this helps a little and im more than happy to help anymore ......
good luck

6 months ago I was in a horrible car wreck and spent a week in the hospital with numerous things wrong. 1 of my problems is 2 bulging disc and pinched nerve and severe whiplash..........I STILL suffer from the whiplash and wonder if it will go away.....I go tomorrow to pain management, so I'll see what they say......if it makes you feel better, I believe you feel this pain and I bet the Dr.'s have made you feel like you're crazy.......you're not, you know your body..............good luck
