Osteophytes are small calcified growths often found with scar tissue related to degenerative disc disease (DDD).

DDD is a disease common with ageinga and has many forms of treatment rannging from conservative therapy like PT, to surgery, which should always be a last resort.

Find a good diagnostician to help determine the best treatment plan for your condition.

You can learn about DDD and its treatment beginning with entry level spine sites like spine-heath.com and spineuniverse.com

Best wishes.
