abnormal heart beat

i feel a shake in my head and my back with heavy heart beat...reduces when am sleeping but intensfies like when i suddenly rise out of sleep to attend to a call or an alarm. i some times feel as though the heart is in wrong side of my breast. i guess it connects to my long time back problem that i think its muscle spasm of sorts.

have you seen your doctor? how long do the heavy beats last? Do you get dizzy or sweaty? short of breath, if so go the the Emergency room next time it happens.  sounds like you need a good work up!

I have an abnormal heart beat.  Sometimes I don't notice it but if I can't get to sleep I notice it.  It beats twice but the third beat is more like a double or triple beat.  Every time I get a check for anything the doctor or nurse asks me "Did you know you have an irregular heart beat?.  I've had it for a long time now.
