back into neck breathing pain

I have a quick question.

I just got up bent over and felt back pain. With in a few minutes it was in my neck.
when I turn my head it hurts my back and my neck at the same time, when I stand up it hurts to breath, when I reach my arms over my back it hurts

Does any one know if this is serious? what it could be?

I've had neck pain, when I wmoved my neck it would hurt but it never involved my back.

It might be something as simple as a muscle strain/sprain or could be something more complicated.  My best suggestion is to see a doctor for a physical exam and any potential x-rays or other testing that may help diagnose the problem.

Thank you, I went to see my massage theropist and she indicated it was tension in my neck muscle which was effecting my turns. She massaged and it went away in a few days, I've never had backpain so when that happened I freaked, like I always do.
