I had issues with my spine being very crooked and due to this (although at the time I didnt know what my problem was) I was unable to lie in bed for more than an hour or so without horrendous pain. Because of this I took to sleeping in the recliner for two years. I finally didnt want to do this anymore and started seeing a chiropractor. He got my back sraightened out but now Im having a hard time getting back to bed. I thought lying down came natural. However, Im havind issues with stiffness after about 4 hours and I have to get up and go to my chair again. Any ideas?
Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include postural issues, neuro-muscular causes such as muscle sprain, nerve impingement, injuries to muscles/ ligaments etc inflammations, fractures/ dislocations, referred pain from other regions, micronutrient deficiencies etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
Hope this is helpful.
