bad back pain

bad back pain

I hurt my lower back in AUG. lifting some heavy water coolers.  I stayed home for several month doing limited activity,
The DOC said I had a disk injury, annular tear, whiich he said usually heals in 6 weeks. I then went to P.T. and they did a very grueling workup.  I was very tight and stiff and afterwards things were a lot worse.  I didn't go back but have tried doing the exercises at home with some stretching, walking, and doing everyday things.    Now I have sharp pain in two other disks that developed recently.   I'm worried these won't heal because I had so much trouble with the first  disk. I also have continued searing pain in a muscle that developed after the P.T. workup. Also, I have some trouble walking and sometimes some numbness in my legs,  I did have an MRI after the initiall injury which showed some bulging disks. Any thoughts or comments helpful

I'd ask your doctor to send you to a specialist if he/she can't alleviate your pain and other symtoms (symptoms). you may be sent to a spine specialist as well as a pain management specialist (physiatrist, neurologist, orthopedic surgeon, anesthesiologist, etc., etc........
                                              Good luck,
