bulgin disc in the neck

I have gone through a few diagnoses since a workplace injury one is tension headaches and  the other is post conccusive symptoms.
It finally has been confirmed through an MRI over 15 months later to be a bulging disc in neck area. I would like to know how a bulging disc could be related to the above diagnoses or if over time could a bulging disc occur from those diagnoses.
Also, is there any thing i can do by myself to heal severely limited funds, i work at a physical job dealing with a variety of weights, and waiting for treatment approval.

Hi....if this is a workplace injury, y isn't workmans comp taking care of the bills?....u do need to see their drs the first 90 days and it should have been reported as soon as it happened......but if it was u should be covered.

Good luck

Let's put it this way, Everything is related. If you have a bulging disc, then you have a pinched nerve. If the nerve is pinched it sends a message to the muscle to tighten up. Therefore you end up with a tension headache. If you are uptight, your muscles tighten and cause it. If you have a pinched nerve, same thing. It is a shame you have had to suffer so much. Work place injuries are the worst. They can victimize you over and over.
As far as relief, there is a pain reliever roll on called "Arth-X". It gets very hot and helps the muscles relax. Also mineral ice does pretty much the same thing, but it can be cold and hot. If you live where I live, you don't want the cold feeling right now. But heat and ice applications help the blood flow and help the muscles to relax. It's not much advice, but without funds it's rough. I hope you got a good lawyer!!  Good Luck.
