burning armpit?

I am a 37 year old male.About 9 months ago i felt a slight pain just inside my right shoulder blade but when i put my head forward it sorta popped like when you stretch your shoulders back.I was fine and thought nothing about it until i felt it again a week later in which i did the same thing and popped it again.another week passed and i felt the pain again but this time was unable to pop it like before.Six months later and im still carrying this pain which is now a stinging or burning pain under my right armpit which is very uncomfortable.I am currently doing exercises given to me by the physio which only seem to aggrevate it.Im still at a loss what this is as i get little relief from pain killers.Would love to know anyone who has had something similar. Thanks for any replies.......

After paying private for a chiropractor it appears i have a pinched nerve.I have only seen him twice and go again tomorrow but i am currently feeling no better to be honest and am beginning to think im wasting my money. He seems to think it could take a good few visits but i suppose he would.Think my best bet is to go back to my GP and see maybe about getting an x-ray.The pain from the actual nerve doesnt really cause any pain, think its the peripheral ones which are causing this darn burning under my arm.I have tried pain killers and chemist counter anti-inflams but get no relief at all.Does anyone know of what sort of medication could possibly get relief from this burning.thanks......

As far as diagnosis, treatment or cure, more information is needed . Regarding the armpit pain, you should consider a musculoskeletal cause or a nerve impingement in NECK. Take care!
