burning leg

I have burning down the outside of my left leg feels like someone poured boiling water on it. It is not there all, of the time, just when I walk or stan for a long time. I have had this for some time, but it is geting worse. Could this be my back I'm 63 years old and over weight.

I would say that it could be related to the back.  I have disc protrusions, disc degeneration, and stenosis of my neck.  At times I have what feels like a very bad sunburn in one area of my arm and back.  My doctor told me that this can be caused by protrusions of discs in my neck.  Good luck to you.
