c1 c2 subluxation, scoliosis

I have had Scoliosis for 20+ years.  I am 37, female with no other health issues not related to spine.  Lately, I have numb arms, hands and toes.  Muscle weakness, joint pain, brain fog, lack of coordination.  X ray shows severe sublaxation at c1 and c2, considered phase III.  Nerve damage tests show major damage and irreversable damage.  Chiropractor wants to work on sublaxation 2-3 times per week.
Am I being paranoid to worry about further damage to c1 and c2 spine? My Scoliosis is at T5-T8 37 degrees then reverse curve of 27 degrees.  Sick of pain meds and muscle relaxers, hate to take them and rarely do.  Rather be in pain than not be able to function.

If your chiro very experienced,Don't worry, this technique can't damage spine, and C1/C2 subluxation are common problem clinically.
