facet joint bone spurs C-3

I have had Cervicagentic headache for 4 months. I also have severe rhuematoid for 24 years. mri showed moderate bone spur at C-3 and ovious Degrenrative disks at C-6-7   also legs numbness and tingling below knees.
The docs have ignored the C-3 bone spur and consentrated on the ovious disks. i have had no relief till yesterday when a doc said we should do facet joint block for the headache. headache was gone. the neur surgeon never mentioned the c-3 and was ready to fuse the C5-6-7. i would have woke up still with a headache.
i admit i have researtched this problem and knew C-2-3 and sometimes 4 gives you the headache but accepted the docs view.  i have huge bone spurs at C-3 which showed up on the floscope in the facet joints. also this is where  rhuematoid mostly attacks.
don't think it's a question but i want people who know their bodies and are proactive in their care, to remember to ask lots of question and trust their insticts.
