failed back surgery syndrome

have had 2 back surgeries in 2007 for a back injury which occurred in December of
2006. The initial surgery was a lumbar lamanectomy at L2,L3. Both surgeries were
unsucessful and I am preently in pain management. My pain is in my lower back,
both sides and very severe down my upper left leg. I am taking NEURONTIN AND
20 Mg OXYCONTIN 3 X .The pain pill works pretty good for 5 or 6 hours but the
appears to be becoming less effective. I have found a heating pad effective in the interim.
I have had steroid injections, physical therapy (2) aqua therapy and nothing seem to have helped.
Between the first and second surgeries I tried to go back but the pain becomes
so intense it effects my whole nervous system. My question is there any other
treatment for nerve pain due to failed back surgery.
