fcet joint syndrome

Hello,
I have been diagnosed with Facet syndrome. Ihave had epidurals, a procedure when they burn the nerves and an implant. I am in constant pain. None of the treatments have worked. Is there a surgery that could help with the pain., I am at my wits end and having a hard time coping with the pain. I also have been prescribed Kadian 80 mg 4 times a day helps but makes me very tired . I work so iam always tired becausee the pain wakes me at night . Please help if you can. Thanks so much

I am sorry that you are having such a difficult time. However, fcet joint syndrome is one of the most difficult disorders that a surgeon faces because most people DON'T need surgery. That does not mean that they do not have pain, it just means that there is no surgery that will be able to successfully address this problem.I would agree that physical therapy, intensive acupuncture, and mobilization exercises can be helpful.Take care!
