feel like theres no hope...

I have sciatica symptoms. I've already had an x-ray and an MRI w/out contrast on my spine...both came out normal. I know I'm not crazy,but I'm starting to wonder what else is left. Even my boyfriend is growing skeptical. Well,I know what I feel and I just want to know if since those two things didn't pick up anything,what else is there that could pick up why I'm still having these symptoms? From what I've heard and read,I thought the cause would've been discovered by now. Thanks,Traci.

Yea,I know,I'll probably go in there and she's going to tell me to go get one done with contrast now. Why can't they just start it out with contrast?

Did you pick up your films and the report? Or has your Dr told you everything was normal...with you seeing the report yourself?

I still dont understand why they perform some mri's without contrast.It really doesn't cost much more.

Talk to your dr about that to determine if you may suffer from it!!

Piriformis syndrome sounds like it may be a culprit of your pain if everything else came back normal.
